Second St. to Third

North Side

  • A mansard-roofed house in the "French mode", on the Second St. corner. Note the quoins at the corners, the paired windows, and the paired brackets in the cornice.

  • A Gothic-style building built c. 1863 for John Winslow, for whom the Winslow Building was named after. (I think the cornice was rebuilt c. 1920's or so.)

  • The house one away from Third.

  • The funeral home on the corner of Third had a brownstone front.
