  • The Troy Pork Store is on the corner of Fourth and there were buildings behind, recently torn down.

  • This building, between Fourth and Fifth, was a source of inspiration for an outside staircase on a building in our model of Troy.
On the prototype, note the use of a different type of asphalt siding on the stairway which contrasts with the building. Again, there are not one but two chimneys, and check out the roof line of the rear addition.
On the model, I added a bay window from a kit to help balance a look, but a bay on only the third story would be very unique, as the children and/or servants slept up there.

  • On the corner of Fifth.
